BeyGOOD Foundation and NMSDC Partner to Advance Black Businesses

BeyGOOD, a public charity foundation founded by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and NMSDC have partnered to identify 700 Black businesses across seven regions in the U.S. to participate in a series of Black Parade Route Luncheons.

The luncheons will give entrepreneurs a 5-star, inspirational afternoon, with networking opportunities. BeyGOOD will also award $100,000 in grants at each Black Parade Route Luncheon to the businesses that have demonstrated the greatest need for additional capital funding and how this relief grant will aid in their business sustainability efforts.

NMSDC will recruit Black businesses from each of the seven regions to complete a Black Parade Route Small Business Grant application. The U.S. cities covering the seven regions include:

  • Chicago
  • New York
  • Charlotte
  • Atlanta
  • Los Angeles
  • Houston
  • New Orleans

Once the application process is complete, NMSDC will review, vet, and identify the 100 applicants most impacted by economic inequity, and provide their applications to BeyGOOD for review.

BeyGOOD will invite the 100 selected Black businesses to the Black Parade Route Luncheon in the city closest to their headquarters and for which they applied.

Applications for the Black Parade Route Small Business Grant are open through April 27.
